Personal History: The Head Druids searched the world high and low with a six month old druid baby known as Bastian. The child was born with the cursed magic and either they found the only other druid with evil magic like his Sojo or they killed the child. They had searched since the child was five months. the night the baby turned six months they came upon Sojo one day in the London Memorial Cemetery. They essentially forced the baby into the necromancer blood mage's life and told him he took and raised him or death. of course Sojo took him in and raised him. Taking care of the kid as if he was his own. giving young Bastian his name. When Bastian was eight months Sojo began to use games like normal babies used for colors, shapes, 123s and abcs to teach other things as well. Using fun games and pictures to teach him the different type of spiritual beings and different forms of dead beings.

When he turned three Sojo began teaching him to turn his built up energy into will-o-wisps and then how to set them free. By the time he was eight he had mastered this skill and was taught how to just release into the world around him safely and harmlessly. He mastered this by 11 years of age. During the years leading up to Hogwarts Sojo taught him control over the magic and how to keep anger and sorrow emotions or stress from triggering his magics auto use. He had mastered this enough when school started so that he could safely attend Hogwarts. Bastian was scared when he left Sojo and attended Hogwarts, he was overwhelmed from the beginning he was sorted into Hufflepuff and instantly began starting his lessons. Bastian kept to himself over his years at Hogwarts, he didn't want to let anyone in that wasn't Sojo, he felt out of place, and would often stay locked in his room, practicing his school work.

Bastian discovered that his best subjects were Potions, Transfiguration and Charms. He knew that he shouldn't get overly active in the dueling club or what not because he believed his magic would come out and hurt others and stayed away like Sojo advised. During his fifth year, Sojo took in another child named Hitari. At first Bastian was hurt that Sojo would even want another child. He believed that she would take his spot and steal his love from Sojo away from him. Bastian would never admit it, but he often grew jealous of Hitari, and would wonder when the time would come for Sojo to dismiss him as his favorite and give it over to Hitari. When he finally got through his seven years at Hogwarts he graduated with decent marks in his classes and looked forward to his training that Sojo had promised him. Sojo told him that they would only start his training when and if he finished a Journey of Enlightenment.
